I became a member of the Board of Directors shortly after joining and immediately attempted to establish an electronic library for the club for filing club data and documents. The software I implemented was [https://www.openkm.ca/ OpenKM] and it has worked wonderfully until my resignation as the head of NPARC 'IT'. At that point the [[Club_Year_2018\|'IT Committee']] decided to scrap the [https://www.openkm.ca/ OpenKM] document library and to use a flat-file system on Google® Drive. I voiced my major objection to this decision but was overruled by the others.

Through the forming~~ of an 'IT' Committee at the wish of the President, [[User:Steve Riddle, VA3FLF\|Steve Riddle, VA3FLF]], I realized that despite it being said that there was 'nothing personal' about the forming of this IT Committee, I realized that I was essentially being fired/replaced. Therefore on May 11, 2019, I filed my [[Media:20190511_-_My_IT_Resignation.pdf\|resignation]] along with my objections to the direction the 'IT' committee was headed and with the choices they were recommending. One such recommendation was to scrap the use of [https://www.openkm.ca/ OpenKM] to track and catalog all club materials. The recommended choice was to use a flat-file, non-indexed system on [http://drive.google.com Google Drive]. (smh)
