GOODMAN, Roland Arthur - It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved father Roland Goodman. Ron was predeceased by his wife Rita (1984). He is survived by his brother Roger and Myra Goodman and his four children, Astrid (Michael), Brian, Kim (Marcel) and Roland (Kathy) and his many nieces and nephews. He leaves behind his four grandchildren, Devon, Andrew, Dylan and Ira whom he loved dearly. Ron emigrated from England in 1949 to Canada where he met his lovely wife Rita and raised their family. He taught Geography at Niagara District High School for 25 years. Ron never spoke an unkind word, always had a joke of laugh to share and was there to help anyone in need. He was a true gentleman in every sense of the word and always displayed a positive attitude. Anyone who knew him was a better person because of it. His legacy will carry on through his family. He will forever be in our hearts until we meet again. The family will receive friends at the VINELAND CHAPEL of the TALLMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 3277 King St. on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at the Vineland Missionary Church, 3874 Victoria Ave. on Saturday, August 7th at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Vineland Cemetery.
